From July 4 to 6, 2018, Ningbo Economic, Trade and Cultural Week was held in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center.

This Ningbo Economic and Trade Culture Week will hold the opening ceremony and 40-year achievements exhibition of reform and opening up. Foreign activities execution companies will reflect the 40-year development achievements of Ningbo's reform and opening up through promotional films, art and photographic exhibitions. Through holding Ningbo folk craft exhibition, Ningbo will display its long and splendid historical and traditional culture. With the help of Hong Kong's international platform, Ningbo's investment environment, talent policy and tourism industry projects are promoted. The development strategy, important platforms, policy initiatives and innovative entrepreneurship environment of Ningbo are highlighted. On the morning of July 4, the opening ceremony will be held with nearly 400 participants from the central Hong Kong-based agencies, the Hong Kong SAR Government, the Hong Kong business community, the Hong Kong education and science and technology community, the Hong Kong fellow associations, Hong Kong human resources, tourism and other industries, and relevant leaders from Zhejiang Province and Ningbo City.

The exhibition exhibits 21 oil paintings, 50 photographic works and 11 folk arts and crafts, which are selected from many art categories in Ningbo. The works have distinct themes, elegant styles, diverse styles and splendid appearance. Their artistic forms are rich in advantages, pleasant pictures, fixed lighting and shadows, gorgeous and colorful. They show the profound connotation and unique charm of Ningbo culture, and highlight Ningbo's image of economic development, social harmony, cultural prosperity, ecological livability, inclusiveness and openness.
