The 2021 London Design Festival took place from September 22 to 25. During the event, the debut of Design London showcased a curated selection of contract interior design brands, lighting, and cutting-edge furniture, along with collaborations with emerging and established designers. Through a series of exhibitions, special events, and outdoor installations, the festival once again transformed the capital's cultural institutions, neighborhoods, and landmarks. As London continued to reopen, these activities brought people together.

Since its founding in 2003, the London Design Festival has attracted many world-leading educators, practitioners, and design thinkers, focusing the city's creative talent and helping to consolidate London's reputation as the world's design capital.

From east to west, north to south, design districts are a key component of the festival. Each district has its own unique character, reflecting the local community, and allows visitors to explore events within a short walking distance. This year's festival established several design districts: King's Cross Design District, Shoreditch Design Triangle, Islington Design District, Mayfair Design District, and Clerkenwell Design District, along with the returning William Morris Design Line after its successful debut last year, and the newly introduced Royal Parks Design District, Southwark Design District, and Greenwich Peninsula Design District.
