The Los Angeles Auto Show, a leading producer of automotive and lifestyle live events, recently announced that public voting for its inaugural Zero Emission Awards is now open. The awards focus on more than 90 of the latest zero-emission vehicles that are currently available for sale or order and meet California standards.

The event invites car enthusiasts and influential car buyers from Los Angeles and beyond to vote in nine categories of zero-emission vehicles, including crossovers, coupes, sedans, trucks, compact cars, SUVs, and hatchbacks/vans/wagons. Voting closed two days ago.

The Zero Emission Awards were born out of growing consumer interest in electric vehicles. Earlier this year, a survey conducted by the LA Auto Show showed that a majority of respondents expressed interest in learning about zero-emission vehicles. As California and the United States move toward zero-emission goals, this peer award program aims to gauge American consumers' views on the EV market and top vehicle purchases.

Many of the world's leading zero-emission vehicles will be showcased at the highly anticipated LA Auto Show this November. Finalists for the Zero Emission Awards will be revealed in early November, with winners announced on November 16. Nominees, finalists, and winners will be invited to an exclusive celebration of the Zero Emission Awards on the 17th during the LA Auto Show's Media and Industry Days.

The LA Auto Show will be open to the public from November 19 to 28 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
