Cao Xiaomeng's Guqin concert in Milan, Italy was a complete success

On the evening of August 2, 2019, the La stecca hall in the center of Milan is full of seats. The artist Cao Xiaomeng perfectly performed the Guqin music works of "heaven, earth and man". The expression of contemporary visual art in the concert narrowed the distance between the Guqin and the audience, and the mutual interpretation of hearing and sight aroused the great interest and enthusiasm of the audience for the Chinese Guqin.

It is Cao Xiaomeng's original intention to bring the Chinese Guqin art, which has a history of more than 3000 years, to the present. After the concert, Italian musicians and artists put forward to Cao Xiaomeng n possibilities for the co creation of Guqin music and contemporary art, opening a new vision for Chinese traditional culture to approach contemporary art expression. Regardless of ancient and modern times, as well as at home and abroad, the future of artists and Guqin is still considerable.
