In 2019, the second Milan Almond Music Festival (Mandorla Music Festival) concluded successfully at Milan's premier MTV Magazzini Generali venue. With captivating performances by Chinese guests Zhang Chu and No Party for Cao Dong, and Italian guests Cristiano de André, The Price, and SLIDE PISTONS, accompanied by the enthusiastic cheers of fans, the night was truly unforgettable.

The Almond Music Award, a symbol of Sino-Italian cultural friendship, recognizes artists who have long contributed to cultural exchange between the two countries. This year, the Italy-China Cultural Exchange and Development Center and the Milan Almond Music Festival Organizing Committee awarded the honor to Zhang Chu and Cristiano de André. The awards were presented by Luciano Valaguzza, President of the European Federation of Lombardy; Italian rock godfather Eugenio Finardi; Franco Donato, President of FiPi Music Copyright Italy; and Wang Peiwei, Chairman of Huayu Travel, the festival's title sponsor.
